Greg And Thea's Christmas 2000 GTi Adventure!

Greg and Thea are on the road!! They are driving Greg's 1984 Rabbit GTi to his Dad in Louisiana. Dad's been asking for the car for some time, and with the acquisition of the new S4 and the Nissan NX-2000 in the stable, the barn's getting big.

"On the way" to Louisiana, Thea and Greg plan to drive to visit friends in Stuart FL, visit Spruce Creek, a fly-in community in Daytona FL, and visit Disneyworld in Orlando FL. They may also visit the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola FL and other attractions along the way.

Day 1, Milford, CT to Fayetteville, NC

Day 2, Fayetteville to Daytona Beach

Day 3, Daytona Beach and Spruce Creek

Day 4, Universal Studios (Orlando) then to Jim and Peg's in Palm City FL

Day 5, Palm City FL

Day 6, Palm City FL

Day 7, Palm City to Panama City FL

Day 8, Panama City FL to Port Barre LA (via the long route...)

End of day 8. Unfortunately, this is the last of the photos. After making the Day 8 report, Greg made the lethal mistake of letting the nieces/nephew play with the digital camera. The inevitable struggle for camera control ensued and the camera was dropped onto a hard floor (there's even a pic of it heading floor-ward).
