Thea and Greg rescued a German Shepherd Dog (GSD) from the local animal shelter in 1996. His name is Luke and now is about 9 years old. In 1998, they rescued another GSD from a Manhattan shelter. Her name is Rae, and she is about three years older than Luke. Thea navigates on flying trips with Greg.
She has two younger brothers, Harold ("Fritz") and Peter. Her mom, Edith, passed away in 1986, and world-traveler dad, Karl, passed away in 1997 about a year after cruising South America. Aside from the Connecticut, California, Germany and Canada, Thea has relatives living in Guatemala and Australia. Here is a rare gathering of cousins.
One of Thea's favorite things to do is sing at a karaoke establishment. (Greg hates to do it!) She is also an avid New York Mets fan.
