Comments:

Team BIRA had another successful outing at Lime Rock Park last Saturday. I drove the big '91 200q at LRP with the Performance Driver's Association.

This was the first time I've run an event with PDA. They're a group of enthusiastic folks that run a little less "structured" than the NEQ. Many drivers are a bit more aggressive, and many are "heads up" in dark places, but overall it would have taken a lot of excess adrenaline to bend a car.

There certainly were a lot of Serious Buck cars there. I haven't seen that many Wells Fargos since the Runoffs. 911 Turbos, Corvettes, 944 turbos, Mustangs, Shelby Cobras, a yellow 348 Challenge car, an ex-BTCC BMW M3, you name it.

We got to meet several other QCUSA members in S4s and S6s, and except for popping an intercooler hose I had a great time. I just loved the looks on a lot of folks faces when they saw a few big four-door sedans blowing away their little sporty cars!!

Brakes were excellent, although I much prefer the Carbotech pads. The stock pads were adequate, they didn't fade at all, but the Carbotech pads offered better bite and a bit more modulation.
