"I FINALLY got the spacers I needed to make it work, I had a feeling the 13mm would be too small, and I was right.  Ronal had to make up the 16mm [spacers] which worked beautifully.  I had to turn down the center rings for the fronts, they were 2.235" when I received them, they needed to be 2.245 or so to fit over the A8 center hub flange.  I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?  Maybe the A8 rotor's flange is .010" bigger than the stock S6 rotor flange.  Wheels are on the car and I think they look great!  They are Ronal Gottis."

"The process I used for figuring out the spacer size was buy a couple of 14 mm fine thread bolts and a dozen or so 9/16" I believe, flat washers at the hardware store.  I think I used 4" but I'd recommend longer if you can get them, cut off the heads, grind a bevel where the head was, thread them into the hubs, put two washers on each stud, hang the wheel (the bolts also make it easier to mount the pain in the ass Audi wheels), put a couple of lug bolts in and snug them up, being careful to make sure you're not tightening them up into the new caliper, if they don't clear, add a washer and repeat the process.  When you've got the right amount of washers, take the wheel off and measure the stack of washers.  In my case I needed 16 mm spacers. Always make sure you have the correct lug bolts FOR THE WHEELS YOU ARE USING.  All lug bolts are not the same, some have a cone shaped taper, others have a ball type taper.  Using the wrong type could ruin your wheels and maybe more.  Ronal had to get me special length lug bolts for the spacers I was using.  Gary Allison at Ronal was very helpful.  I hope this helps!"
